Calcium D-Glucarate

MODERATE EVIDENCEMineralLast updated

SCAN DOSE SUMMARY

Calcium D-glucarate supports Phase II liver detoxification by inhibiting beta-glucuronidase — the enzyme that REVERSES glucuronidation (the body's way of tagging toxins/hormones for excretion). By blocking beta-glucuronidase, D-glucarate prevents recycling of estrogen and toxins back into circulation. Used for estrogen metabolism support and 'detoxification.' Memorial Sloan Kettering lists it as a studied compound for cancer prevention. Dose: 200-500mg/day. Found naturally in oranges, apples, broccoli. --- *Reviewed by the Dose AI Research Team and Clinical Advisory Board* *Last updated: 2026-04-06*
