Calcium AEP (also called calcium EAP or colamine phosphate) was promoted by Hans Nieper for multiple sclerosis and autoimmune conditions. The theory: 2-aminoethylphosphoric acid is a component of cell membrane phospholipids and supplementation 'seals' compromised cell membranes. Very limited clinical data — mostly Nieper's own case reports from the 1970s-80s. Not evidence-based by modern standards. Used in some integrative MS protocols. --- *Reviewed by the Dose AI Research Team and Clinical Advisory Board* *Last updated: 2026-04-06*
