AVELOR SUMMARY
Amla (Indian gooseberry) contains the highest concentration of vitamin C of any fruit (600-900mg per fruit). Capros® (standardized amla extract) reduced total cholesterol by 19% and triglycerides by 36% at 500mg/day in a 2015 RCT. Also has potent antioxidant activity (ORAC value 261, higher than blueberries at 24). Used in Ayurveda for 3,000+ years as a rejuvenative (rasayana). The tannins prevent vitamin C degradation during processing.
