TMG is a methyl donor that converts homocysteine → methionine (lowering cardiovascular risk). Also acts as an osmolyte protecting cells from dehydration stress. The methylation support is the primary mechanism: TMG donates methyl groups to BHMT enzyme (alternative to folate-dependent methylation). Dose: 500-3,000mg/day.
